Simon Courtney
Associate

Simon has extensive experience in all aspects of general corporate, corporate finance and investment funds law.  He has particular expertise and experience in distressed funds and in public and private equity transactions (including IPOS and acquisition-related work).  He also has significant energy sector and project finance experience.

Simon trained and qualified with Allen Arthur Robinson in Brisbane, where he practised for 4 years before joining the corporate department of Herbert Smith in London where he practised for a further 4.5 years before moving to the Cayman Islands in 2005.  Simon joined Forbes Hare from another Cayman Islands law firm.
